Illusionary

Reflection
Simple
Connecting us
Together

Divided eternally
Only by
The margin
Inerasable

Disturbed slightest
Just because
The wind
Dancing

Separated
Yet bridged
Complicated
Reflection

*********

Pure gibberish I came up with. Hope you guys like it. I spent a lot of effort on taking that picture though.

My Stars

By the stars in the sky
Hanging so brightly
Ever silently
I looked straight into them
Begging for a respite
But alas!
None was found
For what could be sought
If it was never given?

My Glasses

I looked at the world
Through my tinted glasses
Looking at what I really want to see
Nothing but the beautiful side of life
But yet I have forgotten
I am standing on a bed of nails
With a pair of worn out shoes
The reality slowly sets in
And with each step I take
My vision starts to blur
Because the glasses are flawed
Or because of the overwhelming pain?

Robin

The fragile glass of life,
Shattered
Lost in the winds,
Even as we speak.
Snuffed out like a candle light,
Surrounding darkness
Crying out loud,
Whose is it?
Loved ones,
Or new born child?
Memories prevail,
Hope is not lost.
Life is continuous,
Hers somewhere else…

In memory of Robin, dear sister of Susan and friends of many, someone I would have loved to meet.

Lonely

My friends are all by my side,
Yet I feel lonely.
Why do I have these secrets,
Hidden within me?
Not sharing with anyone else,
What I really need…

The Bus Stop

One afternoon, one bus stop,
An old man sat down there.
Quietly as he stares,
Ignoring the glances people give,
Sitting there, quietly, quietly.

What is he doing?
Looking for?
Into the past, a once young man?
Rich perhaps? Some millionaire?
But he sat there, quietly, quietly.

People walk by and wonder,
What is he doing here?
Once bus came, one bus left.
But never an inch he move,
Just sitting there, quietly, quietly.

What is he doing?
Looking for?
Into the future, his grandson’s birth?
Boy perhaps? And rosy red cheeks?
But he sat there, quietly, quietly.

Finally, what he is waiting for,
It came and it stop.
The old man stood up,
Smile and get on his bus,
Arriving his destination on the dot.

Why

At this moment, what do I feel?
Nothing, because my fate is sealed.
I run so far and long,
But everything I did was wrong.

I try to please my friends,
But they all left me in the end.
Out the window my feelings flew,
Going wherever the wind blew.

I thought to myself of the things we’ve done,
Memories of times we had so much fun.
Why does it have to end like this?
It feels like nothing but a breeze.

When I Met Death

Around my room silence looms,
A thought that would spell doom.
Cheerful night so full a moon,
But in my heart a feeling zoom.

What are you? Have we met before?
“Yes, a few times or probably more.”
Deep in my heart lies a dark door,
“I know, secrets no one but me saw.”

At the beach the sun began to set,
Him and I, once again, met.
The feeling the sun had lack,
From Him do I truly get.

What are you? Have we met before?
“Yes, a few times or probably more.”
Deep in my heart lies a dark door,
“I know, secrets no one but me saw.”

At the top of the tower I stood,
Legs slip and I’ll be at His foot.
But He hold me tight and say “Look,
Future for you is still good…”

I know you, we have met before,
“Yes, a few times or probably more.”
Deep in my heart I open a dark door,
“I know, secrets every one and I saw.”

In the hospital lies a body,
“Is he familiar?” That’s…me.
“It’s not time yet for thee,
To end thee’s life so freely”

I know you, we have met many times before,
“Yes, countless times but let it be no more.”
Deep in my heart I open a dark door,
“I know, every one gasped when they saw…”

Uncaring

Sun rises, where am I?
A distant horizon where no one can find.
Why oh why?
‘Cos I’m tired,
Both body and mind…

A name is called,
Who’s is it?
I didn’t hear,
‘Cos it sounded like Greek.
